76. Dreaming of Tibi

After purchasing a pair of gorgeous shoes from Shopbop a few months back, I've now become obsessed in New York-based label Tibi. The cuts, colours, and fabrics are just beautiful... I've since added a cami and jacket to my wardrobe. I'm very inspired by designer Amy Smilovic.

...I especially loved the Spring 2012 collection.

75. Love pencil skirts

Pencil skirts have always been part of my work wardrobe. I love the sexy secretary look, with a crisp shirt or silk cami tucked in and stiletto heels. Here are a few of my favourites...

1. Bianca Spender for the perfect cut in high quality fabrics... In fact I have never come across another cut that fits a woman's curves as well. These are the perfect length for me, falling just under my knee ~25 to 26 inches in length, sitting just under my natural waist.

I think the perfect length is just below the knee... I have a short torso and longer legs, so mid-to-high waist skirts suit my figure perfectly (seen here and below)

2. Farage Italian 100% wool pencil skirt. Impeccable slim cut with a high waist, designed to fit with their jackets. Pairs beautifully with their amazing shirts... I especially love the tuxedo shirts.

3. J.Crew Long No. 2 Pencil skirt in double-serge cotton. For vibrant colours in a clean, sleek and structured cut. On me, these sit at my natural waist and well under my knee.

4. Cue for seasonal quirky cuts and patterns. Always a favourite, trusty Australian label. Cue always have good sales for their members and you can finally shop online!

74. Zimmerman shorts

I went from never wearing shorts to owning four pairs in twelve months. These Zimmerman shorts are so comfortable I bought them in two colours (not at the same time)... it could just be because I love everything Zimmerman too!

We took these photos on our last day in Hanoi Vietnam a few weeks ago... I'm in the midst of writing an entry about Vietnam - this is my second trip, this time to the North. Vietnam is a beautiful place!

73. Dreaming of white beaches

These photos from Anthrologie's summer catalogue have provided me with inspiration for my next project - home refurbishment. I love the natural colours mixed with splashes of turquoise blue, bright reds and yellows. I've been on the hunt for small stools like those in Australia... Mark Tuckey is high on the list.

...only a few days to go until I'm watching the ocean with a cocktail in hand - for more inspiration of course! Very excited.

72. Hello Monday

After a cold rainy weekend, these bright tulips opening are a lovely way to start the week! It also helps that I'm heading on holidays in four days time...

71. Bright red jacket

Everything always looks brighter when I wear this jacket. It's starting to get cold now... in fact Friday (the day after this picture was taken) was Melbourne's coldest May day in four years - I don't think it got above 9 degrees!

In addition to counting down the days to my Bali wedding, I'm looking for another pair of ankle booties before I wear these to death - they are my favourite!

69. Wedding day I

This year has been so busy! Weddings, birthdays, (lots of) travel, births, a crazy work schedule... It's been hard to keep up my blog the last two months. But I really enjoy this outlet, so I'm taking the time to get back up to date! Plus it stops me buying things...

Here are a few snapshots from my wedding lunch with my family - the first of two weddings. Counting down to Bali now!

The food and staff at The Press Club were absolutely amazing. I could eat there everyday!
